On July 29, 2022, around forty masked individuals associated with the Atlanta “#STOPCOPCITY” and “Defend the Atlanta Forest” campaign attacked a construction site of Brasfield & Gorrie at Georgia State University. During the attack it is claimed by Georgia State Police Department that $2,500 in damage was caused to the building. According to the incident report, seven individuals were tracked down and arrested. Those arrested were listed as Sophia Aria (age 26), Gina Dickhouse (age 30), Laurel Leckert (age 39), Gillian Maurer (age 23), Malanie Noyes (Age 31), Raymond Surya (age 25), and Abby Walter (age 33).
