On Saturday March 11th, 2023 the “Rock-n-Roll Humanist Drag Queen Story Hour” was held in Wadsworth, Ohio. The group raised $1,850 for the event. According to the Columbus Free Press, the event was hosted by Aaron Reed and Krista Jo Reed. According to a GoFundMe, a man named Juan Carlos Collado Diaz was arrested. The Acron Beacon Journal reported that Diaz was seen pushing the stem of an umbrella against neck of a protester prior to his arrest. According to USA Today, a group named Parasol Patrol traveled to the event all the way from Colorado. The event was protested by numerous White advocates, including Blood Tribe Ohio, Patriot Front, and White Lives Matter Ohio. Other groups protesting the event included anti-White liberals such as the Proud Boys.
